Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, I have been exploring movement ever since I first learned to walk. I trained rigorously to be a professional ballerina, dancing with both The San Francisco Ballet, and The Joffrey Ballet before the age of 18. I gave up my career in dance due to exhaustion and chronic injury.
Yoga came into my life at a time when I needed it the most. It helped me to heal not only the physical trauma from years of dance, but also through the magic of my practice, I began to heal emotional wounds and develop a much deeper and healthier relationship with myself. I received my RYT 200 from Yoga Dicha in Tulum Mexico under the Direction of Richelle Morgan and the Aligned Flow Method, and my 500HR Pilates certification from Samarasa Echo Park under the direction of Justine Malick.
After several years spent developing my own unique teaching style, the idea for Body Language emerged. The practice is influenced heavily by my years of training as a dancer, and is based around the idea that our bodies each have an individual story to tell, and so much to teach us about ourselves if we are willing to listen.
Body Language as a brand now features a growing online class library, with various different teachings, tutorials, and full length classes - with new videos added weekly! Our membership option allows access to a growing online community, including unlimited access to the full library of classes and to live-streamed classes, events, and workshops.
